Attention:  Be Aware of Mystery Shopper Scam!!!

  We at Lane Davenport Enterprises, Inc. DBA The Village Goldsmith have been the victims of a mail fraud / internet scheme.  The perpetrators have acquired a business check and have modified the information in order to scam the general public with The Mystery Shopper Offer. 
  We are a family-owned and operated business.  We do not have a human resource department, and we are NOT checking the service, performance and integrity of other companies and/or their employees.  They are using our good name and reputation to defraud the public.
  If you have received this offer, please return the check and paperwork to the address listed on the check, so that it may be turned over to the authorities.  It is our viable and correct address.  CAUTION:  PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEPOSIT OR CASH THIS CHECK.

                                                             To file a complaint to the F.B.I. related to the internet, www.IC3.gov. Every complaint is reviewed.
